COPORWA-NPA PARTNERSHIP (2020-2024)
- PROJECT TITLE: PUBLIC POLICY INFORMATION, MONITORING AND ADVOCACY (PIMMA)
The Public Policy Information Monitoring and Advocacy (PPIMA) is a civil society support project with overall goal that Rwandan citizens live in a democratic society with equitable social justice. Due to lack of the interest of Rwandan civil society organizations and citizens, knowledge and ability to self-organize to effectively engage in public policy dialogue, the PPIMA project coordinated by Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) and is implemented by Rwandan CSOs working at the national and district levels was designed to support civil society actors in their efforts to strengthen their organisations, mobilise people to know and defend their rights, and to participate in and influence the development of their societies. This project has supported the Historically Marginalized People(HMPs) of 15 Sectors of Nyamagabe ,Nyaruguru and Rutsiro Districts ( Kibeho, Ruramba, Rusenge, Mata and Munini Sectors in Nyaruguru District ;Cyanika,Kitabi,Gasaka, mbazi and Kamegeri in Nyamagabe District;Mukura, Gihango, Ruhango, Nyabirasi and Kigeyo sectors in Rutsiro District) where COPORWA operates to promote the HMPs access to equal participation in service delivery for their rights and development.
